But I don't know how
To do that in the real world

ABNER:
You came up to me, a stranger
And argued your way into
Me teaching you self defense
You really expect me to believe
That you give up easily?

ELLIOT:
Yeah
But when it comes to physical aggression
I'm naive, too agreeable
I freeze up

ABNER:
You will find that your training
Will take time and be draining
For both brain and body
If your heart’s just not in it
You might do well to quit it
Blend in with everybody

ELLIOT:
Absolutely not
I can’t just give up on the first lesson
We’ve barely done anything yet

That’s the spirit!
